The Bank of Fayette County Privacy Policy
December 16, 2010
Dear Friends and Customers:
Our Banking Regulators require that we send you annual privacy notices. If you are like me, you receive these notices every time you go to the doctor or hospital and every bank and Credit Card Company fills your mailbox with them. The print is small and the words are confusing and you probably just throw them away. The unfortunate thing is we actually spend about $3,500 a year on these notices. In any event, I wanted to tell you in plain English how we handle your personal information…..We protect it like our own. We keep it in confidence. We do not sell it. We do not throw it in a dumpster. We do not give it to a call center in a foreign country.
Our Bank has an affiliate (same shareholders, employees, and managers) that sells homeowners insurance, business insurance, life insurance, etc. If we think we can save you money we will have them call you or send you a letter. If you say "No Thanks", end of discussion. We are here to help you, not harass you. We value you as a Bank customer.
You do not need to take any action unless you do not want us to share your information with our affiliate. As always, we appreciate your business and are committed to providing you the best possible service.
Sincerely,
H.McCall Wilson, Jr.
President and CEO
